The Durga Puja celebrations organized by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Bokaro Mahanagar concluded with great enthusiasm at the Jagannath Temple grounds. The event began with floral offerings to Bharat Mata’s portrait and featured a special initiative titled "A Lamp for Daughters," symbolizing respect and a commitment to empowering daughters. VHP State President Chandrakant Raipat inaugurated this segment by lighting a lamp, followed by Durga Vahini State Convenor Mrs. Anuradha and other distinguished guests, who lit individual lamps in honor of daughters.
Prominent attendees included VHP State President Chandrakant Raipat, Bajrang Dal State Convenor Ranganath Mahto, and senior RSS officials. They collectively honored 50 Durga Puja organizing committees from Bokaro for their dedication to preserving cultural and religious practices. In his keynote address, Raipat emphasized the VHP’s role as the world's largest Hindu organization and the importance of Hindu unity and global awareness of Sanatan values.
The program was presided over by Bokaro District President Rajendra Vishwakarma and coordinated by District Secretary Sanjeev Kumar. The State President presented saffron scarves to key district leaders and Bajrang Dal members, including district convenor Ajit Pandey, Anil Singh, Lalesh Sinha, Asha Ji, Rajesh Kumar, Prashant Dwivedi, Rahul Modi, Deepak Pathak, Sitesh Azad, Chandan Monu, Ravi Mishra, Kunal Chakravarty, and Rakesh Modak, recognizing their dedication and service to the organization and the community.
