A camp was organized under Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) in the premises of Middle School Jhopro under Chainpur Panchayat of Chas block on Monday. The camp was inaugurated jointly by Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Education cum State In-charge of VBSY Sunil Kumar Barnwal, MLA Bokaro Biranchi Narayan, DC Kuldeep Chaudhary, SP Priyadarshi Alok, DDC Kirtishree G, AMC Saurav Kumar Bhuwania and SDO Chas Om Prakash Gupta.

Barnwal said that the camp is being organized in the entire country under the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Its objective is to provide people with the benefits of various welfare schemes run by the government. The Prime Minister has set a target of making India a developed country by the year 2047 and has taken a pledge for this. During this occasion MLA Bokaro Biranchi Narayan said that the central government is continuously doing development work and committed to the development of all sections of the society.

DC Kuldeep Chaudhary on the occasion said that work is being done to provide welfare to the last person of the society through various schemes. Also to ensure that more and more people can participate in the camp and avail the benefits of the schemes, public awareness is being spread through publicity in multi-purpose languages/LED vans/street plays etc. DC further said that till date 229 camps have been organized in various panchayats across the district. It is noteworthy that on the occasion, people who benefited from various schemes shared their work experience on the stage.

During the occasion Additional Collector Maneka, Civil Surgeon Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Nodal Officer Manisha Vats, District Public Relations Officer Rahul Bharti, Special Duty Officer Kanishk Kumar, District Education Officer Jagarnath Lohra, District Education Superintendent Mohd. Noor Alam Khan, including villagers of the area and different senior officials were also present.
