Former minister and AJSU Party vice-president Umakant Rajak, BJP MLA Kedar Hazra and many other leaders and workers joined Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) on Friday.
All joined the party at the Chief Minister's residence. On this occasion, party's working president and Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Gandey MLA Kalpana Murmu, Supriyo Bhattacharya and others were present. Umakant Rajak Chandankyari and Kedar Hazra will be the JMM candidate from Jamuwa.
On joining JMM, Rajak said that he has worked as a small soldier of Guru ji and Hemant Soren has become the voice of the entire Jharkhand state. "I consider myself lucky and I will walk shoulder to shoulder to strengthen JMM," he added.
Rajak also said that he has returned to his home again in the election atmosphere of 2024 and the tribal natives of Jharkhand should be cautious. "Be cautious of leaders coming from outside. They are coming here only to instigate fighting among the people of Jharkhand in the name of caste and religion. We will put in all our efforts to make Hemant Soren the chief minister once again. We are not scared of jail. We will do everything possible to ensure the victory of the All India Alliance," he added.
