Two-seater aircraft crashes at Guna

Two-seater aircraft 152 crashed on Guna airstrip, it took off for a test flight on Sunday, August 11 at around 1 pm. After flying for about 40 minutes, the aircraft crashed into the premises itself.

It is suspected that the accident happened due to engine failure. Captain V Chandra Thakur and pilot Nagesh Kumar are injured. Academy officials including Cantt police are present on the spot.

The crashed aircraft belongs to Belgaum Aviation Training Institute of Karnataka. Both the pilots are from Hyderabad. Both the pilots were hired by the training institute. The aircraft was brought to Guna's Sha-Shib Academy for testing and maintenance. The pilots came to Guna on August 10.

Cantt police station TI Dilip Rajoria said that one pilot is completely fine. The other has suffered a head injury. He has been shifted to a private hospital. Stitches can also be put on the head.
