Two held with 5 weapons, 82 live cartridges in Lohardaga

Before the assembly elections, Lohardaga police arrested two smugglers red handed in arms smuggling. The arrested smugglers include Kundan Gop alias Langda and Chiranjiv Krishna, residents of Itki, Ranchi. Police have seized 5 weapons and 82 pieces of live bullets from these people.

The above information was given by Lohardaga SP Hirsh Bin Jama. He said that information was received about the supply of arms through Jamgai Road by the smugglers. After which SIT was formed and raids started.

During this, the police of Bhandra police station caught both the youths red handed near the mango orchard in Pandaria. During interrogation, both have also revealed the names of the other members of the gang. Police will soon arrest them and send them to jail.
