Sagarites of Sagar Public School Katara extension unfurled breathtaking two-day fourth annual day celebrations with an array of captivating performances taking audiences to the world of wonder and imagination. The first day of the annual day was based on the theme 'Fantasia - Flights of Imagination' and portrayed a magical testament of the artistry and creativity of over 1,000 Sagarites, underscoring the school's unwavering commitment to academic and cultural brilliance.
Dr. Rahul Mukhopadhyay from Azim Premji University graced the evening as the Chief Guest and was accorded the guard of honour by the school band. What followed was a tapestry of vibrant performances, where Sagarites brought to life beloved tales of Snow White, Gulliver's Travels, Tenali Raman, and Aladdin. Each portrayal was a symphony of drama and dance, breathing vitality into timeless virtues: the gentle compassion in Snow White, the empathetic wisdom in Gulliver's Travels, the wit and problem-solving flair of Tenali Raman, and the enduring loyalty found in Aladdin. Together, these stories wove powerful messages that resonate deeply with today's world.
The Principal of the School Prachi Verma presented the school's annual report celebrating achievements across academics, sports, and cultural spheres, while emphasizing the institution's dedication to nurturing creativity, building skills, and fostering character in every Sagarite. The day one celebration wrapped up with a vote of thanks by Headmistress Rupinder Arora followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The festivities will continue on the second day, themed Synergia - Confluence of Culture, with special guests Ms. Lopamudra from IIM Bengaluru and Brigadier Anil Das joining as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, to honour the beauty and harmony of cultural unity.
