AtThrilling cycling adventure– Tour-De-Satpura 2024 is being organised by Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board in association with Cycle Safari from July 05. Total 16 cyclists from India and abroad will embark on an exciting journey of 200 kilometers in Chhindwara and Narmadapuram districts, which will conclude in Pachmarhi on July 7.

The cyclists will face challenging climbs and ride along scenic routes leading to breathtaking viewpoints. The will also explore the hidden villages and conquer the final ascent to Pachmarhi, known as the "Queen of the Satpura." This tour is perfect for cyclists seeking a rewarding challenge amidst awe-inspiring landscapes.

All the participants will reach the camp on July 4th, where they will be briefed about the event and routes.Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture Department and Managing Director M.P. Tourism Board Shri Sheo Shekhar Shukla said familiarisation with tourist destinations through different tours and activities is our prime concern. Tour-De Satpura is also a step to make people aware about the tranquil landscapes, thriving wildlife and cultural heritage of state. Madhya Pradesh is an Offbeat Multispecialty Destination of first choice, boasting historical sites, architectural marvels, wildlife sanctuaries, and stunning natural landscapes.

This cycle safari is perfect for cyclists seeking a rewarding challenge amidst awe-inspiring landscapes and we thrive to establish Madhya Pradesh as an adventure tourism destination to promote the overall development of the region. To make the cycling communities friendly and aware with new routes, cycling activities are regularly held at Chhindwara, Patalkot, Tamia, Pachmarhi.The objective of the event is to promote cycling as adventure tourism, attracting thrill lovers and fitness enthusiasts, encouraging environmentally friendly tourism practices, and to provide opportunities for tourists to interact with local communities, learn about their culture and participate in traditional activities.Route of the Event:Date-Distance-Route05 July -62km- Hotel Dev International Chhindwara to Paltwara to Chhindi to Patalkot Camp06 July -54km - Let's camp Patalkot to Kareyam and return camp from Chimtipur.
