The vibrant Cultural Week 'Aavirbhav' commenced at DPS Chas on July 25, 2024, with an exhilarating inter-house vocal competition. The Bharat Muni Assembly Arena, adorned with lamps and vibrant lights, set the festive tone. The event was graced by Chief Mentor Dr. Hemlata S Mohan, Officiating Principal Deepali Bhuskute, and Headmistress Sudeshna Sinha. Special judges included Ranju Singh from Samvawana NGO, Ranjeet Kumar from GGPS Chas, and Professor Amit Sarkar from Bokaro Sangeet Kala Academy.
The inaugural ceremony featured a lamp-lighting ritual and a cultural showcase celebrating India's diversity. The Senior Wing’s Sutlej House and the Junior Wing’s Jamuna House emerged victorious in the vocal competition, impressing both judges and audience alike.
