This was stated by Adish Aggarwala, Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court, President of the International Council of Jurists, and Chairman of the All India Bar Association while addressing the newly admitted law students of the Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Department of Law, at the Diksharambh ceremony. Describing the Prestige Institute as a leading name in legal education in Indore, Aggarwala expressed confidence that its graduates would significantly contribute to the advancement of the legal profession.
Professor (Dr.) R. Venkata Rao, Vice-Chancellor of India International University of Legal Education and Research in Goa, highlighted that the legal profession, one of the oldest in the world, presents countless opportunities for aspiring lawyers.
He emphasized the significance of the Constitution as the most powerful tool for both law students and professionals. Referring to law as an art, he mentioned that it demands not only thorough study, but also sharp intellect and deep understanding. He emphasized that there are no shortcuts in law; progress is achieved through consistent practice and learning from mistakes.
Davish Jain, Chairman of the Prestige Education Foundation, emphasized the vital role of legal education in society. He pointed out that lawyers play a pivotal role in advocating for those who cannot defend themselves, making their work immensely important. The Diksharambh ceremony was also addressed by Professor Dr. R. H. Gorane, Director of the Department of Law.
