Prof. (Dr) Ajai Singh, Executive Director & CEO of AIIMS Bhopal inaugurated the two days workshop on "Stoma Care" today. The Workshop is organized by the Department of General Surgery. In his inaugural address, Dr. Ajai Singh emphasized the significance of the workshop, stating, "The 'Stoma Care Workshop' is an incredible opportunity for healthcare professionals to learn the basics of stoma care. The hands-on experience provided during the workshop will help the participants to be better equipped for future surgical procedures."
Dr Singh urged the faculty of the Department of General Surgery to take a leading role in stoma care research and patient care, highlighting the importance of continued education and skill development in enhancing patient outcomes.
The workshop is being attended by around 50 participants, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, all eager to gain practical knowledge and expertise in stoma care.
