BJP State President Babulal Marandi has expressed grief over the death of renowned social worker, Secretary of Mahavir Mandir Nyas Patna and former IPS officer Acharya Kishore Kunal. Marandi said that the mind is extremely saddened by the news of the death of late Kunal ji. His death is an irreparable loss for the society. May God grant peace to the departed soul and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this immense sorrow.
Acharya Kishore Kunal, a former IPS officer of the 1972 batch, Chief of the Bihar State Board of Religious Trust, and founder Secretary of the Mahavir Mandir Trust in Patna, passed away. The 74-year-old Kunal suffered a cardiac arrest in the early hours of Sunday and was immediately taken to a hospital, where he passed away at around 8 AM. His son, Saayan Kunal, and daughter-in-law, Shambhavi Chaudhary, were present at the hospital at the time of his demise. Kunal’s body was later taken to his residence in Patna, where a large number of people gathered to pay their last respects.
Former Union Minister Subodhkant Sahay too has expressed deep grief over the untimely death of retired IPS and former Chairman of Bihar State Religious Trust Board Kishore Kunal. He said that late Kunal was a person of extraordinary talent. The work he did for crime control during his tenure as an Indian Police Service officer is an example, his specialty was to participate actively in religious-spiritual activities.
He said that he also did remarkable work in the field of education. His contribution in the field of education and health cannot be forgotten. He was the Secretary of Mahavir Mandir Nyas Samiti located at Patna Station. His untimely death is extremely painful for all sections of the society. Sahay prayed to God for the peace of the departed soul and to provide strength to his family in this hour of grief.
Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Rai has condoled the death of his student friend, former IPS officer and Bihar State Religious Trust Board President Acharya Kishore Kunal. On Sunday, Saryu Rai wrote on the social media platform X that famous Acharya Kishore Kunal of Patna's Shri Hanuman Temple is no more.
Saryu further wrote that this morning heart attack took away Kishore Kunal from us. He has been our friend since student life. On my call, he came to the Prana Pratishtha Yagna of Shri Laxminarayan Temple located in Cable Town. Kishore ji's death is my personal loss. Acharya Kishore Kunal built successful institutions in the fields of education, health, spirituality etc. He had become an example.
The MLA wrote that we are proud of him. May God grant salvation to the noble soul. May God give the bereaved family and friends the strength to bear the grief. May God bless them to carry forward his works. It is worth mentioning that Kishore Kunal was also the secretary of Mahavir Mandir Trust of Patna. He was also the founder of a famous school named Gyan Niketan in Patna.
