Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that the boundaries of states should not become a hindrance to the welfare of common citizens. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also has the same resolution. To fulfill the resolve he paved the way for a solution for the Ken-Betwa Nadi Jodo Paroyojana and Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Link Project.

The interstate Ken-Betwa river interlinking project is India's first river interlinking project. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the cases pending for approval of the Parvati Chambal Kalisindh project between Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan for 20 years have now been approved. With these approvals given by the Central Government, the pace of development in big regions of the state will accelerate. Madhya Pradesh government will leave no stone unturned in fulfilling the pledge of rapid development of Prime Minister Modi. Ken-Betwa project will provide irrigation and water facilities to citizens and farmers on a large scale in Bundelkhand. This project will create history. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the 69th Foundation Day celebrations of Madhya Pradesh at Ravindra Sabhagam today. Many public representatives were present in the programme.

Yadav said that a long journey has been covered since the establishment in 1956. This year Rajyotsav and Deepotsav have come together. Four-day Foundation Day celebrations and 5-day Deepotsav are being held in the state. Madhya Pradesh is fortunate in this matter that here Maryada Purushottam Lord Ram spent most of his time in Chitrakoot.

Lord Krishna also came to Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh to pursue education. Madhya Pradesh is also blessed by nature. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that if we look at the origin of the Ganga from the Himalayas and the water of other rivers, much more water flows from Sone, Chambal, Tapti etc. along with Narmada. Madhya Pradesh is like the motherland of rivers. This is both a wonder and a boon for the country.            The Chief Minister said that minerals are abundant in the state. The boundaries of 55 districts in the state will be redrawn. Along with the boundaries of the districts, the boundaries of the divisions will also change. Reorganization-related work has not been done at this level in the state in 68 years. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Madhya Pradesh government will leave no stone unturned for development.

Yadav said that till 2005, there were only 5 medical colleges in the state, but now the number has increased to 20. Prime Minister Modi has recently inaugurated 3 new medical colleges in the state. The number of medical colleges will increase to 28 in the coming 2 years. He said that work is also being done on PPP model through which there will be 40 medical colleges in the state.  In the coming time, there will be a medical college in every district.

Yadav congratulated the citizens present on the Foundation Day of Madhya Pradesh and Diwali and called upon them to enjoy the musical programme being organized under the direction of playback singer Ankit Tiwari from Mumbai. Singer Suhasini Joshi presented Madhya Pradesh anthem. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav launched a film focused on Madhya Pradesh by the Tourism Department by pressing the button of the remote.  Yadav honoured singer Ankit Tiwari with a shawl and shriphal. Principal Secretary Sheoshekhar Shukla, while congratulating the citizens expressed his gratitude to them for their enthusiastic participation in the programme.
