Special campaign to promote farmers welfare

A special campaign is being held in Chhattisgarh’s Kondagaon district to ensure 100 percent farmer registration for welfare programmes, an official communiqué said on Thursday. For this, camps are being organized in 40 villages of the district to register people for the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) and the PM Kisan Yojana.

A total of 3,842 applications were received under the PM Kisan Scheme, of which 3,119 were found eligible.

Similarly, 1,951 out of 2,160 applications were found eligible for the KCC.
