Special attention should be paid to safety of witnesses: Dubey

Principal Secretary of Home department, Madhya Pradesh Government Sanjay Dubey, while addressing the officers in the training program on new codes for prosecution officers organized at CAPT, in view of the scorching heat, said that all of you should keep paying attention to your and your family's health along with performing your duties.

He also emphasized on the training of electronic and scientific evidence and said that the coming era will belong to this.

Along with this, the Principal Secretary Home expressed that all the prosecution officers will have to continuously increase their knowledge on new electronic and scientific evidence and cyber law, so that they can be presented better in the court.

He also expressed that special attention should be paid to the safety of the witnesses and it should be our duty to free them from any kind of fear.

Regarding speedy trial of the case, he expressed that, if a witness is present in the court for evidence, then the witnesses should not be sent back without giving evidence except for extremely unavoidable reasons.

Wishing a bright future for the prosecution officers, he praised who have organized training programs for prosecution officers on new subjects in an integrated manner, so that the prosecution officers will be able to assist the police in relation to the new penal codes to be implemented from July 1,2024 and will be helpful in providing justice in the court.

On this occasion, Joint Director Rameshwar Kumare, M.P.S.J.A. Special Officers of C.A.P.T.,  Dharmendra Tada,  Amit Sisodiya and Assistant Director C.A.P.T. Prakash Badolia and Rajendra Upadhyay, District Planning Officer, Bhopal were present.

On Tuesday in compliance with the instructions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court and Hon'ble High Court Jabalpur, Government of India and Government of Madhya Pradesh to organize training programs for the knowledge enhancement of its officers and employees regarding the new laws, the Director Mrs. Sushma Singh, Public Prosecution Directorate, Madhya Pradesh, in coordination with the Director of State Judicial Academy. Krishnamurthy Mishra and Director of CAPT Anil Kishore Yadav, a training program for the prosecution officers of Madhya Pradesh regarding the new criminal codes is being organized at the Police Training Institute, Bhopal

The new criminal laws Indian Civil Defence Code 2023, Indian Justice Code 2023, Indian Evidence Act 2023 which will come into effect from July 01, 2024.

Training program for prosecution officers on new codes is being organized from May 28 to June 12.

The program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Honorable Director Madam Sushma Singh, Public Prosecution Directorate, Madhya Pradesh.
