A social worker cum retired teacher, resident of Nai Mohalla of the city, died due to heart failure late on Monday night. She was 90 years old. She was a soft-spoken, friendly social worker and dutiful in the field of education. She was the mother of social worker cum retired headmaster Shiv Gupta and Dr. Shashi Gupta. On his demise, MP Sukhdev Bhagat, former Rajya Sabha member Dheeraj Prasad Sahu, former MP Sudarshan Bhagat, BS College Principal Shiv Kumar Gupta, Gaurav Gupta, Saurabh Shashank, Somya Meera Puspa, Principal Sneh Kumar, Prakash Kayaskar, Kishore Tameda, Ajay Gupta, and people from various educational, social, political and religious organizations have expressed deep condolences.
