SIT intrrogates 11 persons in JSSC-CGL paper leak case

Special Investigation Team (SIT) has conducted raids in Patna, Chennai and Ranchi in connection with Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC)-Combined Graduate Level (CGL) paper leak case on Saturday. After which a total of 11 people have been detained. Everyone is being interrogated.

 

Police has received information about the involvement of five of these people. Of these, three or all five accused may be arrested. SIT's interrogation of six other suspects is going on. Police will take further action after getting evidence of their involvement.

 

None of the 11 people detained are JSSC employees. Some of these are the people who had made the question paper viral. Apart from this, an attempt was made to take benefit by doing so indirectly. On the other hand, six other suspects have also been brought for questioning in this case. In this case, junior officials of JSSC were also interrogated on February 8 in the residential office of Zonal IG, Ranchi. After interrogation, JSSC officers have accused the SIT officials of harassing them. They have also written a letter to the Chief Secretary in this regard.

 

The concerned officials were called to the Zonal IG office on February 8. Everyone was asked to cooperate in the investigation. But, senior police officers put pressure on them to reveal the names of the suspects who leaked the question paper. Indecent behavior was done.

 

All the officers and employees of the commission are scared. The present president is also not cooperating with the officials and employees. The Commission staff are disappointed with his working style.

 

SSP Ranchi, Chandan Kumar Sinha has formed teams of 4 members each to help the SIT. Commission officials have told the SIT that all the processes are done through outsourcing agencies. Where will be the examination center of the candidates? Which experts will select the questions? What will be the questions and what will be their answers? No level of employee or officer of the Commission has any kind of information in this regard.

 

An FIR has been lodged against about 4000 students protesting over the JSSC CGL paper leak issue. 15 including student leader Devendra Nath Mahato have been named. FIR has been lodged against a total of 4000 people. In the question paper leak case, an FIR has been lodged against unknown people on behalf of Commission's Joint Secretary Madhumita Kumari at Namkum police station. In which it was told that till the end of the third shift examination on January 28, the Commission had not received any information from any center about the seal of examination materials being broken or breach of confidentiality. The Commission had received the e-mails at 2.32 and 2.38 pm on the same day. In which the answer options of general knowledge of the competitive exam were in 4 pages in a sequential manner.

 

The students were agitating in front of the JSSC office demanding postponement of the examination held on January 28 and the examination to be held on February 4. Meanwhile, after lathicharge by the police, the students became furious and there was a lot of commotion. Due to the gherao of JSSC President, FIR has been lodged against such a large number of students.

 

In this case, JSAC Joint Secretary Madhumita Kumari, Deputy Secretary Sanjay Kumar Sah, Under Secretary Harendra Kishore Ram and Principal Additional Secretary Santosh Kumar had sent a letter to the Chief Secretary accusing the SIT police officers of harassing them.

 

It is noteworthy that in the question paper leak case, JSCC Joint Secretary Madhumita Kumari had lodged an FIR against unknown people in Namkum police station. It was said that there was a General Knowledge exam in the third shift on January 28. On the same day in the afternoon, four pages with answers to the general knowledge test were sent through e-mail. After matching, information about question paper leak was received. After this, the next date of examination was fixed as February 4. Later the examination itself was cancelled.
