The remodeled Canteen and Community Centre at Sijua Colliery along with a renovated rest shed for contractual workers at the Bhelatand Colliery were inaugurated by Sanjay Rajoria, General Manager, Jharia division on Friday. The system of online meals booking was also introduced for the employees at Sijua Canteen.
Both the initiatives were lauded by the employees and the members of the Union. Human Resource Management Team, Town Maintenance Department and TSUISL team of Jharia Division were complimented for their efforts in upgrading the employees’ welfare related infrastructure and amenities. Enhancement in overall ambience, along with bringing in improvement in hygiene standards was lauded by the Chief Guest.
In another initiative the renovated Community Centre at the 6 a d 7 Pits Colliery was also inaugurated by Sanjay Rajoria, General Manager, Jharia Division, Tata Steel. The GM appreciated the efforts put in by the HRM team, TMD team and TSUISL site engineers, in making this initiative a success and presented them with tokens of appreciation, for their contribution.
Present on the occasion were Col. Bhawani Singh Nirwan, Head, Administration, Pankaj Kumar Das, Head, HRBP, Jharia Division, Tata Steel, Santosh Mahato, Regional Secretary, RCMU, besides others.
