BJP is aggressive over the controversial statement of Congress leader and minister Irfan Ansari on Sita Soren. On Sunday, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that sister Sita Soren has been insulted in Jharkhand. Targeting the Jharkhand government and minister Irfan Ansari, he said that this statement shows the anti-women mentality of the government. He further said that respected Sita Soren is a respected leader of the BJP, and her insult exposes the anti-women attitude of the JMM government.

Targeting the coalition government, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Sita Soren ji is the wife of late Durga Soren, daughter-in-law of Shibu Soren and sister-in-law of Hemant Soren. But the surprising thing is that a minister of the same government whose head is Hemant Soren is insulting his sister-in-law.

He said that in Indian tradition, sister-in-law has been given the status of mother. Giving the example of Ramayana, he said that when Sita ji was kidnapped, Laxman ji was asked what mother Sita was wearing. On this, Laxman ji had said that he had never seen mother Sita's face except her feet. He said that the people here are well aware of Indian traditions. When Sita ji was insulted, Lanka was burnt and Ravana was killed. But Sita is being insulted every day in Jharkhand.

Chouhan further said that the people of Jharkhand know who Ravana is and what is the law and order here. He said that mothers, sisters and daughters are being insulted every day in the state. So far 7,400 rape cases have been reported in the state, including incidents with girls like Rubika and Ankita.

He targeted and said that Hemant government minister Irfan Ansari has insulted Sita Soren ji by using abusive language against her, if Hemant Soren has even a little shame, he should resign immediately. But Hemant Soren is sitting silent. If he cannot protect the honor of his Bhabhi Maa, then how will he protect the mother, sister and daughters of Jharkhand? Such a person has no right to remain in office.
