In a bid to infuse new energy among the BJP cadres in the State Union Home Minister Amit Shah today addressed the extended working committee meeting of the State BJP. The meeting was attended by senior BJP leaders Babulal Marandi, Shviraj Singh Chuhan, Himanta Biswa Sarma, Arjun Munda, Annapurna Devi, Sanjay Seth among others and a gathering of over 25000 party workers from across the State.
Addressing the gathering Shah fiercely attacked JMM and Congress. He said that Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) is the most corrupt government in the country. Rs 300 crore was found from the house of a Congress MP. Rs 30 crore was found at the house of a minister's PA. Congress party should answer whose money is this? Congress runs with such corrupt people and JMM is also with them. JMM government is a government of scams.
Shah said that MNREGA scam of 1000 crores, land scam of 300 crores, army land scam, mining scam of 1000 crores, liquor scam of 40 crores, transfer posting scam of thousands of crores have happened during the tenure of this government. This is a government of scams and promise breaking. The BJP is going to go before the people of the state with a list of promises broken. He requested the workers to knock at every door in Jharkhand with the list of the state government's breach of promises and the list of BJP's development works and gather support in favour of the party.
He said that instead of worrying about the tribals, a tribal Chief Minister is disturbing the balance of land as well as population by doing land jihad, love jihad in the tribal areas. Thousands of infiltrators marry tribal girls, get certificates, buy land. Right now the population of tribals has decreased. In the coming days, the population of tribals is going to decrease further. The population of tribals is decreasing only in Jharkhand. If you form the BJP government, we will bring a white paper on the matter of population and will work to secure land, population and reservation for the tribal brothers.
Shah said that the way infiltration is happening in Jharkhand, it is eating away the jobs of the youth here. Infiltrators are getting jobs and Hemant Soren is engaged in increasing the vote bank with closed eyes. Hemant Soren's tribal welfare means the welfare of his family.
Shah said that you did not work for the welfare of the tribals but BJP has done many remarkable works in this direction. Babulal Marandi was made the first tribal Chief Minister by BJP. The first tribal President was made by BJP from this Santhal. Atal ji included Santhali language in the Eighth Schedule and it was Atal ji who created the Tribal Welfare Ministry. Narendra Modi got the announcements made in Santhali at every station.
He told JMM Congress that they should keep it in writing that in the 2024 assembly elections, BJP is going to form a government with full majority. Shah said that BJP made Jharkhand and BJP also did development. Talking about development, a national highway was built in Jharkhand with 4000 crores, 15000 crores were given, 58000 crores were given to railways, 1000 crores were given for airport, one AIIMS was given, one airport was given in Deoghar and many works were done by Modi government for the welfare of the poor.
In 10 years, Congress gave 84 thousand crore rupees for the development of Jharkhand while Narendra Modi ji gave 3 lakh 84 thousand crore rupees for the state. Jharkhand was made by BJP and the development was also done by BJP.
Shah said that if BJP wins any election, then the reason for it is the booth worker who remains alert 24 hours a day. I have come to assure you, whether it is Modi government, Babulal Marandi government, Arjun Munda government or Raghuvar Das government, BJP government has not done anything due to which you (BJP workers) have to bow your head. BJP government has ruled in such a way that you (BJP workers) can go among the public with your head held high with pride.
