Seven Day Aqua World Carnival kicks off in city

Padma Shri recipient Ashok Bhagat inaugurated the 7-day New Year Carnival 2025 being organized by Aqua World, Machhali Ghar here on Friday. Padma Madhu Mansuri was also present as a special guest on this occasion. The carnival will be held from 27 December to 2 January from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. There will be a lot of competitions and programs for all sections in it.

Addressing the people present, Bhagat praised the organization of the carnival and said that today the carnival will give a solace to the people in the life of rush and mobile. He said that this is a very commendable event by Aqua World. In this, the spirit of competition will also be awakened in a meaningful way among children and youth. He hoped that for the next 7 days in the carnival, social issues should also be discussed along with entertainment.

Mansuri enthralled the people present with his folk song. In his address, he said that today's young generation should not forget their traditions along with modernity. Congratulating the organization of the carnival, he expressed hope that a large section of Ranchi will come here and enjoy various programs and competitions.

At the beginning of the carnival, the guests and the people present paid tribute to former Prime Minister Late Manmohan Singh.

Earlier, in his welcome speech, Pratul Shahdev, Managing Director of Aqua World, welcomed the guests and said that Aqua World has always provided healthy entertainment to the middle class of Ranchi. Through the carnival, full arrangements have been made for the entertainment of the people of Ranchi for the next 7 days.

Pratul discussed the social contribution of both the guests and thanked them and said that the people present have got inspiration just by their presence. The program was conducted by Dr. Vidya Jha. Today, on the first day also, there was a lot of competition. First of all, a painting competition was organized on the theme of Clean India in which hundreds of children participated. In the 'Mera Juta Hai Japani' competition, people catwalked on the ramp showing the best shoes and sandals. In the selfie competition, people took selfies at the Santa Claus booth. More than 100 children participated in the chips eating competition.

In the late evening, different competitions were organized for children in The Follow Up Show. The main attraction of the evening was the grand magic show of magician Prakash Bharti. In which the people present were amazed to see the tricks of magician Bharti. The team of today's best outfit competition was red. A large number of people came wearing red outfits.

On this occasion, carnival in-charge Lokesh Chaudhary, deputy in-charge Abhishek Giri, Anand, Saurav, Akash, Ayush, Khushboo, Shagun, Saumya, Piyush, Aditya, Shivesh, Prashant, Nitin, Aparajita Komal, Tanya, Sanya and all the members of the carnival organizing committee were present.
