The Special Police Establishment of Lokayukta Bhopal has nabbed Nagar Palika Engineer Suresh Verma accepting bribes for providing NOC for building a house without permission.
Complainant Suresh Singh Dangi appeared before Superintendent of Police Lokayukta Bhopal and told that, anti-encroachment in-charge Ramesh Verma, Engineer Nagar Palika Sehore is demanding bribe from him.
The complaint was verified by Lokayukta's team.
During the complaint verification, encroachment in-charge Ramesh Verma, Engineer Nagar Palika Sehore demanded Rs 70,000 as bribe. This bribe was taken by the NOC for building a house without procuring proper permission.
When encroachment of in-charge Ramesh Verma, Engineer Nagar Palika Sehore took Rs 20,000 as first installment from complainant Suresh Singh Dangi in his office chamber through his associate Anshul Jain, the bribe amount was recovered from Anshul Jain after the office was raided by the sleuths of Lokayukta.
