State Bank of India, Bhopal Circle has joined hands with the people while observing "Swachhata hi Seva" campaign from September 17 to October 02 across all branches, including regional and administrative offices in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Numerous activities are proposed under this campaign, under the theme of 'Swabhav Swachhata - Sanskaar Swachhata'.
Under the campaign Safai Mitra Suraksha Shivir was organized on Friday at Local Head office Bhopal premises. On the same day Chander Shekhar Sharma, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India Bhopal Circle formally inaugurated this mega Cleanliness drive at the local head office Bhopal.
He emphasized the need for effective execution of the campaign and instructed all branches and regional offices to identify unclean areas, religious sites, and tourist spots in their vicinity for cleanliness drives through voluntarily and in true spirit.
In his address, Sharma expressed gratitude towards the cleanliness workers, stating that the State Bank of India feels honored to recognize them. On this occasion, he distributed T-shirts, gloves, masks, and other materials to all cleanliness workers. Additionally, Bank conducted health check-ups for all sanitation workers in collaboration with the Kaynat Human Development Society, including tests for blood pressure, sugar, dental, and vision. The program was attended by senior officials and staff members, including Mr. Kundan Jyoti, General Manager Network 1, Ajitav Parashar Parasar, General Manager Network 2, Ram Kumar Tiwari, General Manager Network 3, and Deputy General Manager and Circle Development Officer Ashwini Kumar.
