Centre for Engineering and Technology (CET) of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) celebrated its 43rd Foundation Day with a series of vibrant celebrations and community-focused initiatives.
In the spirit of community engagement, CET organized a fortnight-long series of activities focusing on artistic skill sets of children and ladies of CET family and also on health & environmental awareness.
Notable highlight was the blood donation camp held in collaboration with Sadar Hospital, Ranchi. The mission garnered overwhelming response from CET family & Ranchi based units of SAIL.
During this august celebration, National flag hoisting ceremony was held on the roof-top of CET office in Ispat Bhawan by A.K. Singh, Director (Technical, Projects & Raw materials) with participation of Executive Directors, Chief General Managers & collective of Ranchi based units of SAIL.
CET also organized a tree plantation drive at Ispat Executives Hostel, which was inaugurated by the Director (Technical, Projects and Raw materials) in the presence of EDs & senior officials of Ranchi based units of SAIL, furthering CET’s commitment to a greener future.
The festivities culminated in a cultural extravaganza at SAIL's prestigious Ispat Bhawan auditorium in Ranchi. The event featured launching of CET Anthem, rich tapestry of performances showcasing the artistic prowess of CET/ SAIL’s in-house talents like, Mime on Women empowerment by male team, semi-classical dance exhibiting Lord Krishna Gatha by female & girls team, etc. Apart from AK Singh, Birendra Tiwari, Director-in-charge (Bokaro) and other EDs, CGMs graced the occasion.
The 43rd foundation day celebrations of CET exemplified a harmonious blend of cultural revelry, social responsibility, and corporate ethos, resonating deeply within the SAIL community and beyond.
This exquisite event was led by Shrawan Kumar Verma, ED (CET) who spared no stone unturned to galvanize the collective , reaffirming CET’s commitment to excellence in its role of in-house consultancy for the growth & prosperity of SAIL and towards community & environment commitments.
