Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) has initiated the registration of contract workers under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) from today, July 5th. This initiative is being organized in collaboration with the State Government's Civil Surgeon Office and Medi Assist TPA Private Limited. The coordination of this event is being managed by Pranjali, General Manager (Human Resources - Contract Workers Cell), along with her team members.
The registration campaign was inaugurated on July 5th under the initiative and guidance of Rakesh Kumar, Chief General Manager of the C O & C C Department. Over 150 contract workers participated in the registration process on the first day. Following this, camps will be organized in various departments on July 6th in the Hot Strip Mill Department, on July 8th in the SMS (New) Department, and on July 9th in the Blast Furnace Department.
Contract workers are advised to bring their Aadhaar card and ration card (listing them as the head or member of the family) to complete their registration. The management has urged contract workers to take full advantage of this special campaign.
