Rajendra Nagar police solve two burglary cases, goods worth Rs 2 lakh recovered

Rajendranagar police solve revealed two incidents of theft. Bali gang was arrested for stealing a rickshaw from a barrage and a grocery shop.

Police recovered stolen goods, one e-rickshaw and groceries worth Rs 2 lakh 20 thousand. Police arrested accused Shyamu Silavat, Sangeeta Yadav, Manisha Solanki.

The arrested accused have a record of being involved in theft incidents in the past also.

To curb the incidents of theft in Indore urban area, Police Commissioner Indore Rakesh Gupta and Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone-01 Indore Vinod Kumar Meena , Additional Commissioner of Police Alok Sharma and Assistant Police Commissioner Gandhi Nagar Rubina Mijwani were directed to take strict action. In compliance with the above instructions, to investigate the incidents of theft in area, a team was formed by the police station in-charge Rajendra Nagar Siyaram Gurjar under the guidance of senior officers to investigate the incidents of theft.

 

Case number 1, dated 27-3-2024, the complainant Bablu Chauhan, father Anarsingh, resident of Buddhanagar, Indore, came to the police station and reported that the complainant's e-rickshaw number mp09 de 9646, worth approximately Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand, was stolen by an unknown thief at the spot Tezpur gadbadi was stolen. On the report of the complainant, crime number 293/2024 section 379 of IPC was registered at Rajendra Nagar police station and taken up for investigation.

In case number 2 dated 4-4-2024, complainant Umesh Maravi, father Jugalkishore Maravi, resident of Scheme No. 103 Kesarbagh Road, Indore has reported at the police station that the grocery shop of the complainant was broken into by unknown thieves by breaking the lock of the grocery shop of Scheme No. 103 Kesarbagh Road, Indore in the night. Groceries and cash worth a total of Rs 40 thousand were stolen from the shop of the complainant. Based on the report of the complainant, crime number 312/2024 section 457,380 of Indian Penal Code was registered at Rajendra Nagar police station and taken up for investigation.

The team formed to investigate the above mentioned crimes visited the places of occurrence.

After inspection, CCTV footage was collected and continuous efforts were made by the police to arrest the incident by recruiting informers and on the basis of

information was received  that some people were going with a stolen auto rickshaw. When the police stopped the rickshaw the accused ran away.

In a similar incident, Rajendra Nagar police, while investigating the theft at a grocery shop, made sustained efforts and on the basis of informer's information, the accused Shyamu Sijavat, Sangeeta Yadav, Manisha Solanki were caught and the stolen grocery goods and cash were seized. In both the above incidents, goods worth about Rs 2 lakh 20 thousand has been recovered by the police. Interrogation of the arrested accused is going.
