Maiyya Babu hospital is back to its normal functioning. Its doctor's chamber and operation theatre have been opened under order of the DC Shashi Ranjan.
These two were sealed on June 15 by the order of the DC. However this hospital paid a penalty worth rupees 2L for its deficiencies buying time to make an all round development of the hospital in one month.
Doctor in chief Quadir Perwez said our hospital caters to the poor patients and there comes a crowd of attendants with every patient and that tells on our space and hygiene here.
The hospital however continued to remain suspended for 6 months beginning June 11 when the Jharkhand State Arogya Society found this hospital wanting as many as 8 or 10 counts in particular.
The other 5 or 6 counts were just mentionable, like why this hospital has two sets of buildings separated by a road etc.
This hospital can't entertain Ayushman card holding patients for treatment asking for Ayushman relief as it stands suspended although this hospital remains on the panel for the health providers under Ayushman coverage.
