Provide benefits to maximum farmers through KYC: DC

The meeting of the District Level Consultative Committee was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna in the conference room located at the Collectorate. The performance of all the banks of the district was discussed in detail in the meeting. During the review, the current works of all the banks were reviewed. The Deputy Commissioner directed the leading District Manager that there is a need to bring more improvement in the field of agriculture in the district. He directed the representatives of all the banks that there is a need to increase the loan deposit ratio of the district. He directed all the banks to hold a meeting to strengthen the credit deposit ratio. 

Waghmare directed to give maximum loans in the agriculture sector by increasing the form credit. He also said that the annual plan should be prepared as per the target so that it can be achieved on time. The Deputy Commissioner said that the work should be done with sensitivity towards poor farmers in loan recovery. The legal option for recovery could be a certificate case. He also said that more and more farmers should be provided Kisan Credit Card. The DC asked the representatives of RCT to train as many people as possible for self-employment and make them skilled. Thereafter, Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the schemes of Central and State Government like Prime Minister Employment Generation Program (PMEGP), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Atal Pension Yojana, Mudra Loan, PM Swanidhi etc. And asked to speed it up. 

Apart from this, the DC directed the representatives of all the banks to organize camps in various areas to make the general public aware about KYC. In the said meeting, mainly Deputy Development Commissioner Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat, representatives of RBI, leading bank managers, Chief Manager of SBI Avinash Kumar, DDM NABARD, Director R Seti, General Manager District Industries Center were present.
