Professionals to aide Congress in Assembly elections: JPPC

Thursday, 08 August 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

A meeting was convened by the members of the Jharkhand Pradesh Professionals Congress at the Congress Bhavan in Ranchi, in preparation for the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections in 2024. The meeting was attended by former President of the Professionals Congress, Aditya Vikram Jaiswal, and was chaired by State Coordinator of the CA Vertical, Prabhat Kumar Agarwal.

In the meeting, it was decided that there would be contact with one professional per booth, the appointment of one CA per ward, and contact with one doctor per booth. Additionally, the Professionals Congress has decided to set up camps to promote the Mahagathbandhan government's Maïya Yojana, so that everyone can benefit from it.

Jaiswal, stated that professionals would play a crucial role in the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections. Professionals include the business class, CAs, doctors, teachers, and other professionals, and the goal is to bring them together under the Congress ideology. This would help make Jharkhand prosperous and strong in every aspect. He mentioned that a professionals contact tour would be conducted across all 81 assembly constituencies.

Members of the Professionals Congress, party leaders, and workers will hold public meetings to address professionals' issues and include their concerns in the Congress manifesto. The focus will be on boosting the agricultural corridor and tribal economy to increase income. There will be an effort to contact one professional per booth to address the issues of the people.

State Coordinator of the CA Vertical, Prabhat Kumar Agarwal, highlighted the significant contribution of professionals to the country's progress and economy. He emphasized that whether it's income tax, the MSME sector, or any kind of tax-related matter, CAs are available everywhere, contributing to the nation's development. Assembly coordinators will be appointed in all 81 constituencies to collect issues from the business class and common people and include them in the party's manifesto. Despite MSME contributing 34% to our GDP, policies made by the central government are not seen benefiting on the ground. For this reason, one CA per ward will be appointed to ensure that people benefit from the Professionals Congress.

The meeting was attended by Meenakshi Singh, Janet Andrew, Dr. Reema Khalkho, Allen Andrew, Krishna Sahay, Sanjeev Mahto, Asif Ziaul, Shrey Jain, Bipin Tirkey, Irfan Khan, Gaurav Anand, and others.
