A BPharma student committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling in Bhagirathpura area of Indore, his coaching teacher had filed a rape complaint against him in the women's police station on Tuesday.
The student's father alleged that the police released his son only after he gave Rs 45,000. After this, he came home and cried a lot and committed suicide.
The family had also alleged that the English coaching teacher was harassing the son. She had also sent many threatening messages to implicate him in a false case. The family has also handed over the screenshots of these to the police.
According to the police, Gaurav Hada (19) was a resident of Bhagirathpura. He was a B. Pharma student. On Tuesday night, his younger sister saw him hanging from the noose. After this, the father was informed. The family took him to the nearest hospital. From here he was sent to MY Hospital, where doctors declared Gaurav dead.
The family said, 'Gaurav started English coaching 11 months ago. The English teacher is three-four years older than him. Gaurav had an affair with the teacher. After the relationship developed, the teacher started blackmailing him in different ways. She also started stopping Gaurav from talking to other girls. She took thousands of rupees from him many times. When his father once caught him stealing money, Gaurav told him that the teacher was blackmailing him.'
They said that the teacher threatened Gaurav to implicate him in a rape case. She sent messages on Instagram and WhatsApp. Then she went to the police station to complain about Gaurav.
Gaurav's family claimed that two women policemen threatened Gaurav on Tuesday. They collected Rs 45000 from his father, then let him go. Gaurav's father alleges that Gauri Tiwari and Kaushalya madam had demanded 3 lakh rupees in the women's police station. We tried to show them the mobile chat between Gaurav and the teacher, but they did not see it.
On the other hand, TI of the women's police station Kaushalya Chauhan said, 'A case of rape complaint had come to the police station. Both the parties had reached a settlement. The police have not taken money from any party in the police station. The allegations are false.'
