On the martyrdom day of Martyr SP Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh, an all-religion prayer meeting with floral tributes was organized by Martyr Ajay Kumar Singh Trust and Municipal Council Lohardaga at Ajay Udyan on Friday. Martyr SP Ajay Kumar Singh's father Ramashray Singh, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna, DDC Dilip Singh Shekhawat, Municipal Council Executive Officer Mukti Kindo etc. were mainly present in the program. 

On the occasion, SP Haris Bin Zaman said that the then brave SP Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh, posted in Lohardaga, fought against the Naxalites in the forests of Peshrar, a highly Naxal affected area of Lohardaga district, to eliminate the Naxalites and maintain peace in the district on October 4, 2000. Made the supreme sacrifice of service. We will not let their sacrifice go in vain. Taking inspiration from him, all of us police personnel will continue the campaign against Naxalites. He asked the misguided people to return to the mainstream of the nation soon. 

He also appealed to the residents of the district to cooperate with the police for peace, goodwill and development in the district. Referring to the heroic story of martyr Ajay Kumar Singh, DC said that the residents of the district should cooperate with the police and administration in the development of the area. Trust Secretary Chandrashekhar Prasad Aggarwal said that Ajay Udyan has been built in the memory of martyr Ajay Kumar Singh. 

This park will always inspire all of us to follow the path of duty. Municipal Council Executive Officer said that Ajay Udyan Park was earlier being run by Ajay Trust, but now it is running under the supervision of Municipal Council. He said that the park will be further developed to keep alive the story of sacrifice and bravery of Martyr Ajay Kumar Singh. CRPF Deputy Mantos Kumar and others also addressed the meeting. Before this, salutes were given by armed soldiers. After that, SP Haris Bin Zaman, father of martyr SP Ajay Kumar Singh Ramashray Singh, Municipal Council Executive Officer, Trust Secretary Chandrashekhar Aggarwal, MLA representative Nishith Jaiswal, BJP leader Omprakash Singh, Principal of Women's College Sneh Kumar, Rajkishore Mahato, Rajesh Mahato and police.
