JMM Central General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya today said that in the first phase, the public has rejected BJP on 43 seats. It was not a secret earlier also, but these people are still polluting the atmosphere, he added.
Holding a press conference here on Friday Bhattacharya said that the BJP does not have any issue now. He said that even today the work of dividing the society is being done. He said that before today, BJP had not even mentioned the word infiltration from 2014 to 2024. Now just before the elections, these people are trying to make the alleged infiltration an issue.
He said that a BJP MP raised this question inside the Parliament and he said that Bihar, Bengal and Santhal should be cut and a separate Union Territory should be made. He said, since then BJP has been in a state of panic, now preparations are being made to snatch away the status of the state. Assam CM had set fire in Mizoram one and a half years ago, till date tribals are being thrown into that fire there. In his state Assam, tribal girls were stripped naked and paraded on the road and here he is talking about tribal welfare.
The JMM leader said that there is another former BJP CM, in his rule tribals were made to urinate. And here he is talking about tribal respect. He said, the limit was crossed when these people went to the High Court regarding the ‘Mainiya Samman Yojana’. He said that the court also foiled this conspiracy of the BJP. The court said that this is an honest effort. We say that we will give 2500 from December, then they objected to this also.
Bhattacharya said, we demanded that the date of elections be extended. The term of the government is not yet over. But it was not accepted. He said that when the fourth installment came to the women's account like emergency service, even then they had problems. We said that even in December, Rs 2500 will be deposited in the accounts of women and these people are saying that they will give Rs 2100.
He said that the game going on in the state, the attempt to break the government, is very worrying. He said that all these activities are happening under the protection of the Election Commission. He said that as part of a conspiracy, the helicopter of Rahul Gandhi, Hemant Soren and Kalpana Soren was stopped. He said that this is happening continuously and it should be investigated. This is not a simple matter.
He said that a PM's plane gets damaged and due to this all flights are stopped, this should be investigated. Supriyo said, are our people roaming around with bombs in helicopters. He said that the code of conduct and the rules of giving speeches are being flouted and the Election Commission is silent.
