Reacting to the statement of State Congress President Jeetu Patwari, BJP State President and Khajuraho MP Vishnudutt Sharma said that instead of doing politics in the name of farmers, State Congress President Jeetu Patwari should tell the people and media of the state what the Kamal Nath Government of Congress which was in power for 15 months did for the farmers.
Congress had drowned the farmers in debt with its false promises, from which the BJP Government helped the farmers to recover.
Today the farmers of Madhya Pradesh are becoming prosperous and happy. Congress which cheated and broke promises to the farmers is pretending to be working for the welfare of the farmers.
Congress suppressed the recommendations of Swaminathan Committee for years. Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji empowered the farmers by implementing it. The leaders of Congress Party which shot 24 farmers in Multai today talk about farmer welfare which is ridiculous. Congress President Jeetu Patwari should apologize to them for the way his party and government treated the farmers.
State President of Bharatiya Janata Party and MP Vishnudutt Sharma said that Congress governments ruled the country for a long time, but these governments did nothing for the betterment of farmers.
The report of Swaminathan Committee, which was constituted for the betterment of farmers, was also suppressed by Congress governments for years. When Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's government was formed in 2014, he implemented these recommendations.
Since then, the farmers of the country have started getting beneficial support price for their produce and now their condition is improving. The decision that the Modi government took in the interest of farmers, could it not have been taken by the Congress governments that do politics in the name of farmers? Shri Sharma said that the central government led by Prime Minister Modi and the BJP government of Madhya Pradesh together are giving Rs 12 thousand Kisan Samman Nidhi to the farmers every year, has the Congress ever thought about it?BJP State President and MP Shri Vishnudutt Sharma said that the Madhya Pradesh government participated in every happiness and sorrow of the farmers of the state.
The Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav are continuously taking decisions in favour of farmers.
Sharma said that first of all, Jeetu Patwari should ask the Chief Minister of his 15-month government, Kamal Nath, that how many times did he visit the fields to see the condition of crops during his tenure as the Chief Minister? How many times did he share the sorrows and sufferings of the farmers?BJP State President and MP Shri Vishnudutt Sharma said that the government of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is continuously taking decisions in the interest of farmers and taking steps for their betterment. If Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is going to watch the film 'Sabarmati Report', then why is the Congress Party and its State President Jeetu Patwari upset with this? Shri Sharma said that in fact the Congress Party is upset with the truth of the Gujarat riots shown in the 'Sabarmati Report', which has been kept hidden from the people of the country till date.
He said that this film shows how the Congress party and its goons conspired for political gains and threw the whole of Gujarat into the fire of riots. The history of Congress has always been to fulfill its selfish motives by instigating riots. That is why the Congress party and its leaders are scared of this film.
