PAS Bokaro hosts English storytelling competition using puppets

Sunday, 21 July 2024 | PNS | BOKARO

Pentecostal Assembly School in Bokaro hosted a lively English Storytelling Competition using puppets for Nursery to Grade 2 students. The event transformed the auditorium into a whimsical world, with students delivering flawless narrations using intricately crafted puppets.

The competition had preliminary and final rounds, with judges selecting two students from each section based on their use of props, memorization, pronunciation, fluency, facial expressions, and overall presentation. The high quality of performances made judging a challenging task.

Judges included Shweta Kumar and Rina Chatterjee from the English Department, alongside parents Saba Parween and  Yogendra Kumar. Parent judges were thrilled to see their children perform confidently on stage, strengthening the bond between the school and parents.

Principal Dr. Karuna Prasad praised the students' performances and thanked parents and teachers for their support. The event concluded with the announcement of results, celebrating creativity, courage, and artistic skills, and leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.
