Chief Executive Officer of Indore District Panchayat, Siddharth Jain has suspended Ishwar Matholiya, Panchayat Sachiv of Gram Panchayat Asravad Khurd of Indore district, with immediate effect for being found negligent in rural development works.
The progress of construction work of Gram Panchayats was reviewed in District Panchayat Indore by CEO District Panchayat Siddharth Jain. Executive Engineer Rural Engineering Service, District Panchayat CEO, Assistant Engineer, all Deputy Engineers and Additional Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat were present in the meeting.
In the review of construction works, it was found that the works of community building, segregation shed, community toilet etc. in Gram Panchayat Asravad Khurd are incomplete. More amount has been withdrawn for construction works than the assessment. A show cause notice was also issued to Sachiv Ishwar Matholia for laxity in these works, but even after that no progress was made. After review, Ishwar Matholia, Sachiv of Gram Panchayat Asravad Khurd, has been suspended with immediate effect by CEO Indore Zila Panchayat Siddharth Jain.
