No possibility of severe cold in next 5-6 days in MP

There is no possibility of severe cold in Madhya Pradesh for the next 5-6 day and the weather pattern will prevail till January 20. This will happen due to western disturbance. It has been active in North India since January 16. The system will also affect the state in the next 1-2 days. Due to this, there will definitely be light clouds, but there is no forecast of rain.

Meteorologists said, after the system passes, a period of severe cold will begin in the state.

At present, the day and night temperature in the state is 4-5 degrees higher than normal. Talking about big cities Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur and Ujjain, the night temperature has not gone below 10 degrees even once in the 14 days of January. The temperature here is just above 12 degrees. On the other hand, both day and night are cold in Gwalior.

Rewa had the coldest Sunday night in the state. The minimum temperature here reached 5.2 degrees. 6 degrees were recorded in Khajuraho, 6.8 in Sidhi, 7.5 in Datia, 8.3 in Satna, 9.8 in Nowgong , 9.8 degrees in Umaria. Pachmarhi recorded 8.8 degrees.

Bhopal recorded night temperature 14.4 (temperature in degrees Celsius), Indore 14.6, Gwalior 8.8 and Jabalpur 11.6 Ujjain 13.

Meteorologist SN Sahu said that Jammu has received less snowfall than normal. Due to this, northern winds are not coming and the drop in temperature has reduced. Western disturbance will be active from January 16. Its effect will be seen in the state after a day or two. Due to this, there will be light clouds. The minimum temperature will drop after the system passes on January 20.

The weather remained clear in Indore on Sunday. Earlier on Saturday, an increase of 1 degree was recorded in the day temperature.

Gwalior is the coldest in the state, mercury was 22.6 degrees.

The temperature was recorded at 28.1 degrees in Bhopal, 26 degrees in Indore, 26.2 degrees in Jabalpur and 26.5 degrees Celsius in Ujjain. Talking about the temperature on Saturday-Sunday night, the mercury in Gwalior was 7.8 degrees. In the rest of the cities the temperature remained more than 12 degrees.

The day temperature recorded in Dewas on Sunday was 25 degrees and the minimum was 11 degrees Celsius. Due to continuous change in weather, the color of wheat crop has started turning black.

Even in Khajuraho-Sidhi the temperature is less than 25 degrees.

After Gwalior, the day temperature in Khajuraho and Sidhi also remained less than 25 degrees. The mercury remained below 27 degrees in Malajkhand, Rewa, Dhar, Nowgong, Satna, Narsinghpur, Tikamgarh, Umaria and Sagar. The highest temperature was recorded in Khandwa at 30.5 degrees.
