Night temperature decreasing after monsoon departure

Difference in day and night temperatures have reduced after the departure of monsoon in the state, still due to the activity of 3 systems, drizzle and cloudy weather will remain for the next few days.

The effect of the cold weather conditions will increase from October 20. Severe cold will be seen in the beginning of November. However, since this morning, the bright sunshine was witnessed  in many districts including Bhopal.

Earlier on Wednesday, it also rained in Betul, Chhindwara and Burhanpur. According to the Meteorological Department, an intense pressure area (depression) is moving forward over the southwest Bay of Bengal. At the same time, two cyclonic circulation systems are also active. Due to this, there will be drizzle and clouds in the state.

On Wednesday, there was torrential rain for half an hour in Shahpur of Betul. Many quintals of grain from farmers who came to sell the produce in the market were washed away in the water. The produce of many farmers got wet.

Two girls got stuck in the surging water in the middle of the river in Damua of Chhindwara. This happened due to sudden increase in the water level in the river.

Due to heavy rains on Wednesday in the forest area adjacent to Mohd village in Shahpur area of Burhanpur district, Dhorak drain got flooded. 15-20 laborers got stuck on the other side of the drain. The youth of the village rescued them with the help of a rope and took them out safely.

The grains of the farmers who came to sell their produce in Shahpur Mandi of Betul got washed away in heavy rain.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain clear in the state during the next 24 hours. On Thursday, there will be bright sunshine in many districts. The sky will be clear in Bhopal as well. Similar weather will prevail in Indore, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Gwalior.

With the departure of monsoon, there has been a drop in day and night temperatures in the cities of the state. The night temperature in many cities is less than 20 degrees Celsius. These include Pachmarhi, Gwalior, Rajgarh, Naugaon. At the same time, the mercury is around 30 degrees in Malajkhand, Seoni, Shivpuri. On Wednesday, the day temperature in Pachmarhi reached 26.8 degrees Celsius.
