Narsinghpur RTO Jitendra Sharma will be the new RTO of Bhopal, he took charge on Tuesday.
The Transport Department has posted Narsinghpur RTO Jitendra Sharma as the in-charge of Bhopal RTO late at night. Former RTO Sanjay Tiwari retired on June 30.
Additional Transport Commissioner Umesh Joga said that Narsinghpur RTO Jitendra Sharma will join Bhopal as he has been given the charge of Bhopal.
The pendency in Bhopal has increased due to the absence of RTO for one day. Due to the work being halted on Monday, there will be a crowd in the RTO today. On Monday, the work of license, fitness, permit etc. remained completely closed. Thousands of applicants kept visiting the RTO throughout the day. Transport officials say that there is a problem due to the absence of RTO in the office and the employees of Smart Chip Company leaving together. The contract of the chip company ended on June 30. The employees also did not come. The work of the company has been extended for 3 months. All the employees will come from Tuesday.
