Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ extended a warm welcome to all guests, visitors and investors, including Prime Minister Naraenra Modi, at the inauguration of the fourth edition of the groundbreaking ceremony (GCB@IV). He described the day as a momentous occasion for Uttar Pradesh, “marking the dawn of a new era in industrial development”.
“In Uttar Pradesh’s industrial development journey, we are all currently experiencing a historic opportunity. This is the fourth groundbreaking ceremony of UP, which will contribute to the bright and golden future of the future generations. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh has emerged as the growth engine of the country,” he said.
Nandi highlighted that the government operates on two pivotal wheels, accelerating Uttar Pradesh’s development journey. One wheel represents development, while the other one represents heritage, he added.
“On January 22, the whole world witnessed the great festival of the rise of Indian culture, and today, on February 19, the mahakumbh of industrial progress is being concluded,” he said.
Nandi said that the most basic requirement for setting up an industry and attracting investment was credibility. “Investor trust can only be gained when words and deeds are consistent,” he pointed out.
