Mutilated body of AIIMS employee found

Mutilated body of a 27-year-old outsourced employee of AIIMS Bhopal was recovered from the track near the outer of Rani Kamlapati railway station, body was completely mutilated.

The deceased has been identified as Deepak Mahobe who hailed from Betul. He was employed in AIIMS Bhopal through an outsourced company from June 16, 2024.

According to the police, Deepak's torso was found, but the head was not at the spot. He was identified from the mobile phone found at the spot.

The Bagsewania police sent the body for post-mortem. According to preliminary investigation, Deepak lived at his maternal uncle's house in Barkheda area and no one in the family was aware when Deepak left the house after having dinner on Tuesday night.

Early on Wednesday, a loco pilot informed the railway control room about a person being hit by a train near Rani Kamlapati railway station.

Police reached the spot as soon as the information was received, but initially nothing was found. Later, Deepak's body was recovered about a kilometer from the mentioned place. The police are trying to find out whether Deepak committed suicide or it was an accident caused by some other reason.
