Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), on Thursday, attacked Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on issues like infiltrators and madrassas. The party said, BJP leaders come to Jharkhand and talk about only two issues. One is infiltrators and the other is madrasa. But according to the report of the Home Ministry, most attempts of infiltration are made in Tripura and they are also successful.

Addressing a press meet, JMM General Secretary cum Spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said , BJP has ruled Tripura for the last 8 years and BJP has been responsible for border security for 10 years. He said, Assam Chief Minister (CM) Himanta Biswa Sarma also accepts that most infiltration has happened in Assam after this, Babulal Marandi makes a new tweet every day. He said, even BJP leaders will not be able to tell what the truth is and what is not.

The party General Secretary said that the same leaders come here and say that madrasas should be closed. He said, the education given inside madrasas is religious education and this is not hidden from anyone. “There are 16513 madrasas in UP. All these madrasas are recognized. The number of unrecognized madrasas is 449. Similarly, the number of Government madrasas in UP is 558. While there has been a BJP Government there before and it is still there. There are 20650 madrasas in Madhya Pradesh which run with the support of the State Government. Similarly, there are 1600 madrasas which are given financial support by the BJP's Central Government,” he added.

Bhattacharya further said that there are 1130 madrasas in Gujarat. “BJP has been ruling Gujarat for 30 years. The State Government is running 88 madrasas in Bihar. Similarly, 2059 madrasas are registered with the Madrasa Board here. There are 186 paid madrasas in Jharkhand. These madrasas in the whole Country are a joint program of the Ministry of Minority Welfare, State Government, Central Government and Education Department. Now they have a problem with the madrasas. There is no problem in BJP ruled States. They come to Jharkhand and say that madrasas should be closed,” he added.

The party Spokesperson said that the kind of language BJP leaders are using these days, smells of poison. He said, BJP which is issueless these days, its true thinking is now coming to the fore. “PM Narendra Modi talks about Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas but a BJP leader says that it is not Sabka Saath, but the development of those who are with us. He was referring to the recent statement of BJP leader of opposition in West Bengal Assembly Shubhendu Adhikari. In which he has said that the talk of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas has now become meaningless. BJP's Minority Front should be closed,” he added.

Bhattacharya further said that BJP has hardly fielded a single Muslim candidate in the Lok Sabha elections. He said, BJP hesitates to give tickets to Muslim candidates even in Vidhan Sabha. “In Rajasthan, it gives tickets to Muslim candidates on only one seat. BJP does not give representation to a large Muslim population anywhere.  This perception of BJP is already established. He said, saying straight away that there is no need for Minority Morcha in BJP now, it should be closed, this shows the real thinking of BJP,” he added………
