Members of the Uttar Pradesh assembly will have darshan of Ram Lalla in the newly-consecrated temple in Ayodhya Dham on Sunday.
The members of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and its allies are expected to go to Ayodhya Dham on Sunday. They will return to Lucknow by Sunday evening.
Samajwadi Party president and leader of opposition Akhilesh Yadav was also invited by the Speaker Satish Mahana to come along, but he turned down the invitation saying “he will go to Ayodhya on the call of Bhagwan Ram”.
All the MLAs and the ministers will assemble at Vidhan Bhawan and leave for Ayodhya Dham in luxury buses arranged by the UP State Road Transport Corporation. Ram dhun will be played in the buses during the journey from Lucknow to Ayodhya Dham.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will reach Ayodhya by air on Sunday morning.
Speaker Satish Mahana urged the MLAs to use only the buses for the journey to Ayodhya and avoid private vehicles as there will be parking problems in Ayodhya.
