School management staff was attacked while school was vandalised by miscreants at a private school in Shahpura; reason behind the attack remained unknown, police have started investigation.

Police said that miscreants entered in Orion International School and vandalised it. The school chairman was taken hostage. The secretary was beaten up and was attacked with a piece of glass  and injured.

The hooligans entered school in Shahpura, on Thursday afternoon at around 12.30 pm. The school chairman and secretary allege that the attackers were activists of ABVP Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. The police have started an investigation on the complaint.

The chairman of the school is Gyanendra Bhatnagar while his son Abhinav Bhatnagar is the secretary.

Abhinav's brother Aditya Bhatnagar said that eight to ten youths entered the school. They misbehaved with his brother. When he protested, they assaulted him.

The police have registered an FIR on the complaint of the school management. A case has been registered under sections of assault, intimidation and abuse.

The attackers injured the school secretary Abhinav Bhatnagar. He has lodged a complaint at Shahpura police station.

Gyanendra Bhatnagar said that around 12 noon, some anti-social elements came to the school in the name of Vidyarthi Parishad. They asked for donations for registration in the Vidyarthi Parishad from all the children and principal Kamlesh Rathore. STAFF REPORTER n BHOPAL
