Mirza Chowki police station of Sahebganj district has been awarded the seventh best police station in the entire country and the first best police station in Jharkhand. Mirza Chowki police station of Sahebganj district has been awarded the best police station in the country by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. It has got seventh position and first position in Jharkhand state.
Director General of Police, Jharkhand, Ajay Kumar Singh today handed over the ‘Certificate of excellence’ awarded by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, to Station In-charge, Mirza Chowki, Prakash Ranjan, in the auditorium of Police Headquarters, Jharkhand, Ranchi. The then Superintendent of Police, Sahebganj and present Deputy Inspector General of Police (Personnel) Naushad Alam, former Superintendent of Police, Sahebganj Anuranjan Kispotta, Shashi Bhushan Chaudhary, Inspector of Police, Sahebganj Zone and Prabhat Kumar Singh, ( CCTNS) Mirza Chowki police station were also honoured with a citation.
It is worth mentioning that the award is given after a survey of the functions of the police stations in crime control, research, investigation, updated entry in CCTNS, good relations between the police and the general public, cleanliness of the police station office and premises, updated status of records related to the police station, resolving the complaints of women on priority basis and other works related to the police station by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
On this occasion, Director General of Police, Jharkhand said in his address that bringing Mirza Chowki police station of Sahebganj district seventh place in the entire country and first place in the state is a big achievement for Jharkhand Police, whose officers are responsible for the work, due to which the said achievement has been achieved, they deserve congratulations. Jharkhand is holding its head high in the entire country after getting the award for the best police station by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Receiving this award will inspire all other places in the state to do excellent work.
This felicitation ceremony was presided over by DGP Ajay Kumar Singh, in which Dr. Sanjay Anand Rao Lathkar, Additional Director General of Police, Operations, Suman Gupta, Additional Director General of Police, Training and Modernization, Manoj Kaushik, Inspector General of Police, Headquarters, Annepu Vijaya Lakshmi, Inspector General of Police, Training, Naushad Alam, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Personnel, Anuranjan Kispotta, Superintendent of Police, CID and other officers were present.
