To address the issues faced by students studying at BMHRC, a mentor-mentee program has been initiated.
Under this program, each student pursuing MD, MS, DM, or MCh in various departments of the institute has been assigned a faculty member from their respective department as their mentor. Separate teachers have also been designated as mentors for students of the Nursing and Paramedical College.
The program was inaugurated at BMHRC on the occasion of Guru Purnima.
On this occasion, students also participated in a tree plantation drive within the campus.Dr. Manisha Srivastava, the acting director of BMHRC, informed that the institute offers postgraduate and super speciality courses in various departments such as Anesthesiology, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, and Neurosurgery. Additionally, courses are also offered in the Nursing and Paramedical College. The mentor-mentee program has been started to provide emotional support and a homelike environment to the students enrolled in these courses.
Students can discuss any problems they may have with their mentors and seek their assistance. All faculty members have been instructed to take special care of their respective students.
