On the occasion of International Women's Day, a blood test camp was organized at RA Middle School, Nawadipara under the joint aegis of Indian Medical Association and Indian Red Cross Society, Lohardaga. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Ganesh Prasad, District President of Indian Medical Association, Arun Ram, Secretary of Indian Red Cross Society, Sanjay Burman, Road Safety Committee member and Rahul Kumar, Secretary of Science for Society, jointly lighting the lamp.
Addressing on the occasion, Dr. Ganesh Prasad said that men and women have equal status in the society. Despite this, some shortcomings still remain which need to be removed. This year the theme of International Women's Day is economic empowerment of women. Additionally, the campaign theme for International Women's Day 2024 is Inspire Inclusion. We can respect women and give them equal status, which can be beneficial for the prosperity of the nation. Secretary of the Indian Red Cross Society, Arun Ram, said that the students studying in the school will benefit from hemoglobin testing and blood group testing in the school.
Only if children remain healthy will they be able to study better. Road Safety Committee Member Sanjay Barman expressed his views and said that International Women's Day is an opportunity to honor the achievements of women, recognize their struggles for gender equality and celebrate their contribution in various fields like culture, political and social. Rahul Kumar, Secretary of Society for Science, said that Jharkhand is a tribal dominated province, in this province women have been walking shoulder to shoulder with men for centuries. Their daily routine is no less than that of men. The program was conducted by Alok Kumar and vote of thanks was given by Praveen Kumar. In the camp, blood tests of more than 200 students were done by Basanti Pathology technicians Sita Kumari and Vineeta Kumari. Dr. Ganesh Prasad, Arun Ram, Rahul Kumar, Alok Kumar, Praveen Kumar, Omprakash Kasera, Manish Kumar played an important role in making the blood test camp successful.
