Medi-Caps varsity hosts delegation from alma college, USA

Dr Kuber Datt Gautam, the professor in charge of Media at Medicaps University Indore, stated that the university recently welcomed distinguished representatives from Alma College in Michigan, USA, as part of a major effort to broaden its international academic collaborations. The delegation, which included Dr. Tim Pinnow, the dean of graduate studies and chief operating officer, and Mr. Victor Finch, associate vice president of graduate and professional enrollment, had productive conversations about joint projects that would improve student learning.

The primary focus of their visit was to explore the establishment of a student exchange program and a "2-plus-2" agreement. This initiative would allow undergraduate students from Medi-Caps University to complete the first two years of their education in India and the subsequent two years at Alma College, USA, thereby offering a unique global learning experience.

Key leaders of Medi-Caps University, including Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) D.K. Patnaik, Mr. Palash Garg, OSD to Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Sunil D. Upadhyay, Dean of Agriculture, Prof. (Dr.) Pramod S. Nair, Dean of Engineering, and Dr. Kalyan Sahu, HoD Management, warmly received the Alma College representatives. During their discussions, they deliberated on various collaborative programs, the creation of student exchange opportunities, and the potential for dual-degree initiatives that would benefit students from both institutions.

Dr Ravindra Pathak, Head of the Office of International Affairs at Medi-Caps University, expressed his deep appreciation for the insightful exchanges with Alma College. He emphasized the importance of such partnerships in enriching the academic experience of students and broadening their global perspectives.

This landmark visit was made possible through the unwavering support of the Honourable Chancellor Shri R.C Mittal, OSD to the Chancellor, and the Registrar's Office.
