Continuing its annual tradition, the Western India Bodybuilding Championship, organized by the Indian Body Builders Federation (IBBF), Mumbai, in association with the Municipality of Ujjain and the State Bodybuilding Association Ujjain, is set to showcase exceptional talent this year.
The competition will witness participation from over 200 athletes representing five states: Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra.The Madhya Pradesh team has been officially selected for this prestigious event, and among the proud participants is young bodybuilding enthusiast Mayank Aswani from Khandwa.
Mayank has earned his place in the state team in the 60 kg weight category, showcasing his dedication and skill in the sport.District Bodybuilding Union Secretary Chetan Gohar and Senior Vice President Anand Shukla emphasized the significance of the event in promoting bodybuilding and fitness across Western India.Prominent personalities, including District Bodybuilding President Ritesh Goyal, Danny Yadav, Dheeraj Barole, Kanchan Mukesh Tanve, MLA Amar Yadav, District Olympic President, and District Sports Officer Ramgopal Bangaria, extended their heartfelt congratulations to Mayank.
