Friday, 04 October 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

BJP state president Babulal Marandi on Thursday termed the party’s Parivartan yatra which was flagged off by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and concluded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a huge success. Marandi claimed people turned out at the yatra and attended the meetings in huge numbers despite the heavy rains and inclement weather.

The State President said that the BJP's Parivartan Yatra concluded in Hazaribagh on 2 October. Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to the closing ceremony. The Parivartan Yatra was inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on 20 September. During the yatra, the country's Defense Minister, Health Minister and BJP National President, Chief Ministers of many states and Union Ministers participated in it. All the major leaders of the country participated in it. Gave strength and strength to the yatra.

Marandi said that the slogan given in the yatra was, 'Na kahenge na sahenge, badal kar rahenge'. This went on for a long time. This slogan will continue in the future as well. Another slogan given in this was 'Hemant Soren jawab do, 5 saal ka hisaab do'.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah kicked off BJP Parivartan yatra on September 20 from Bhognadih the birthplace of Veer Shaheed Sidhu Kanhu who led the Santhal revolt in 1855.

The yatra, led by state BJP president and former chief minister Babulal Marandi, will cover a distance of 5400 kms, passing through more than 200 blocks in the entire state across all 81 assembly segments.

Marandi said that I have written many letters to the Chief Minister regarding the corruption and scams in the state. The government was already warned that such irregularities are happening. Save yourself from this and save the state as well.

The state president said that many issues will be discussed in the account of 5 years. Marandi said that he had written a letter to the Chief Minister on many issues. Illegal excavation and illegal transportation of stone continued in Sahibganj. Transportation continued from illegal ghats as well. Transportation was also done at night through water. There was information that an accident could happen here anytime. I wrote a letter to the state government and the Chief Minister regarding this. The Chief Minister did not take cognizance of the letter. The vehicle accident occurred about 1 to 1.5 years after writing the letter. When the investigation was done, it was found that there was a stone scam worth thousands of crores of rupees in Sahibganj. The investigation is still going on. There are cases against many people.

Marandi said that there is also a case of coal theft. Coal theft broke all records and set a new record during the tenure of Hemant Soren. Coal theft happened under the protection of the government. BJP had also staged protests in Dhanbad several times regarding coal theft. A letter was also written to the Chief Minister regarding this. The SP who raised the flag of failure in Palamu was posted in Dhanbad. He said that I had written a letter to the Chief Minister that crime will never stop in the district if such an officer is posted. Many officers of his batch were promoted, but he has not been promoted. Because of getting promotion, he would have to leave the post of SP.

Marandi said that there was a case in the High Court regarding the investigation of coal theft. The High Court has given instructions for a CBI investigation into this matter. This is welcome. If CBI enquiry is done on this, then the truth will come out.
