An youth from Aurangabad, Bihar has raped a minor girl in a scorpio jeep near Gulariya Dorha forest under Ranka police station area on Saturday. 

The minor is also said to be from Bihar, who studies in Ranka. The accused was caught red-handed by his relatives while raping the minor and handed over to the police . After this, the Ranka police lodged an FIR against the accused and his driver under the POCSO Act and sent them to judicial custody . The accused  is Mo Shahrukh Ansari, son of Kalamuddin Ansari, resident of  village Kutumba  of Aurangabad district, Bihar and his driver is Tauqeer Ansari alias Farhan, son of Reyasat Ansari, resident of Hariharganj of Palamu district.

 The police have recovered the Scorpio vehicle (JH01-FG 5004) used in the incident. 

Police station in-charge Praveen Kumar said that the minor studies while living at her maternal grandfather's house. She was already in contact with the youths living in Kutumba. On Saturday morning at around six o'clock, both the  youths reached Ranka in a black Scorpio and called the minor girl on the main road.  After the minor reached there, they took her to Gulriya Dhonda forest on National Highway-343. They parked the Scorpio on the roadside and raped the minor girl.

 The maternal grandfather and maternal uncle searched for her and then they found out: When the minor girl was not found at home, her maternal grandfather and maternal uncle started searching for her. When they could not find her, both of them started going towards Garhwa on a bike. On reaching Gulriya Dhonda, they got suspicious after seeing a Scorpio parked on the side of NH-343. The minor's maternal grandfather saw that Shahrukh Ansari was raping her on the seat of the car and the driver Tauqeer Ansari was sitting on his seat. Then the minor's maternal grandfather and maternal uncle got the gate of the Scorpio opened and both the accused including the minor were brought to the police station.  An FIR was registered regarding this incident. The police station in-charge said that on the written application of the girl's maternal grandfather, a case has been registered under the POCSO Act and both the accused have been sent to jail. The minor has been sent to Garhwa for medical examination.

Youth held with country made pistols  

Garhwa Police have arrested one youth from Achala Navadih village of Garhwa police station area and recovered two country-made pistols and two live cartridges. ASP Campaign Rahul Dev Baraik gave this information  at Garhwa police station. 

Arrested youth has identified as Rahul Kumar Dhar Dubey, son of late Kamlesh Dhar Dubey, resident of Achala Nawadih under Garhwa Police Station area. 

ASP told that on Friday, Superintendent of Police Deepak Kumar Pandey had received information that an youth in Achala Navadih village  was roaming around with illegal weapons. Later SP formed a police  team led by SDPO Neeraj Kumar. When police team reached near Rahul's house on  saw that he was roaming around the house. After this, the police ran and caught Rahul while he was running. He told that he has thrown the weapon in the paddy field.

On his indication, two 8 mm country-made pistols and two live bullets were recovered from the paddy field.

Woman, lover jumps into well

An incident happened in Khardiha village of Ranka police station of Garhwa district which is being discussed in the whole area. According to the information, Anil Yadav of the village used to work outside and returned to the village a few days ago after earning money. On coming to the village, the neighbors told that his wife Lalita Devi is having an affair with his younger brother Sunil Yadav. Both of them love each other. The neighbors also taunted Lalita for this. Anil Yadav questioned his wife about this and the dispute between the husband and wife increased on this matter. Lalita Devi jumped into a nearby well in anger. When brother-in-law and lover Sunil Yadav got the information about Bhabhi jumping into the well, he also jumped into the well. By the time the villagers took both of them out of the well, both had died.

 This incident has spread mourning in the village. Lalita Devi's three small children also became helpless. 

Ranka police is investigating the matter. Police also says that the matter seems to be related to a love affair.
