Man consumies poisonous substance, dies

A 45-year-old man died after he mistakenly added a poisonous substance, assuming it was water, the man was addicted to alcohol.

On the morning of July 1, the deceased  Suresh Jatav  saw a bottle lying on the road in which a poisonous substance was present. The man thought it was water and he mixed it in the alcohol and drank it.

Shortly after, he started vomiting. After which he informed his friend about it. The man was admitted to the hospital, where he died during treatment. The police conducted a postmortem and handed over the body to the family.

Misrod police station said that Suresh Jatav (45) was a resident of Jatkhedi. He lived with his wife and children. Suresh used to work as a labourer. Police said that Suresh was addicted to drinking alcohol. He used to drink alcohol about 3 to 4 times a day. He also had a problem with blood pressure. On the night of June 30, he drank alcohol and went to sleep. The next day he left the house for some work. Suresh saw a bottle lying on the road which contained a poisonous substance which looked like water.
